ABOUT
Ivan Blomqvist is originally from Sweden but the renowned music conservatory in Trondheim led him across the border to Norway, he graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in jazz piano and currently lives in Oslo. In recent years, he has been active as a producer, songwriter, composer and musician with his own projects, in addition to collaborating with some of Scandinavia's most exciting artists such as Emilie Nicolas, dePresno, Silja Sol, Neon Ion, Matilda, Nosizwe, Linda Sundblad and Rohey where he was nominated as ”Newcomer of the year” at the Norwegian Grammy awards (2017).
As a producer and composer, he is responsive and concerned with bringing the artist's vision and expression to life. Ivan's productions often combine analog synths, organic beats, rustic timbres and heartfelt songwriting in a future-oriented expression with a clear love for pop, r&b and jazz.

DEPRESNO
DePresno has released several critically acclaimed albums and is one of the most exciting artists on the Norwegian music scene. I wrote and produced "Silence" together with dePresno and Odd Martin.
NEON ION
Neon Ion is a very talented Norwegian artist existing in the overlap between R&B and Pop. I have hade the pleasure of producing and writing for her albums "Heart Echoes" (2020) and "Mood Cosmic" (2022).
SILJA SOL
Silja Sol is a great artist from Bergen, who has released three records already. I co-wrote and played keys on her new single "Løse tråder".
NOSIZWE
Nosizwe is a South African/Norwegian artist. She featured on the radio hit "Stay" with Sisi in 2012. Alongside her studies as a political scientist, she started taking her own music more seriously. She has since then released her debut album "In Fragments" produced by the legendary Georgia Anne Muldrow.
I´ve had the privlidge to produce and c/o write her new single "Dunno".
LINDA SUNDBLAD
Linda is a Swedish artist, known for her collaboration with Max Martin in the band Lambretta. I've co-written and produced her album "Det finns ett hav för dom som vågar".
MOSAMBIQUE
Mosambique released their debut album "Big City Moves" on Jazzland Recordings. Mosambique hits you right in the face with its snappy synths, sassy horns and pulsating rhythms. It's dirty and raw, with a scoop of self-irony. The band shows that jazz has no trouble being danceable!
ROHEY
Rohey have toured extensively throughout Scandinavia and Europe, taking in just about every major Jazz festival along the way. The band was nominated for the Norwegian Grammy in 2017. I acted as songwriter and keyboarplayer in the band.
Estonia - The find that changes everything
I had the honor to to play piano on the documentary "Estonia" composed by Martin Horntveth. The movie was produced by Monster and won the Gullruten category, «TV Moment of the Year» in 2021.
Hope (Håp)
Mosambique is featured in the movie "Håp" with my song "Fela". The movie is starring among others Stellan Skarsgård and Andrea Bræin Hovig. Directed by Maria Sødahl. It debuted to rave reviews at Toronto International Film Festival, as well as getting a very warm welcome by the Norwegian press. It was selected as the Norwegian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards,making the shortlist of fifteen films.
Juvente - Opp til meg
I composed the music to "Up to me" which is a teaching material about drugs, health and life skills for the junior high school. For those of you who are a teacher, confirmation leader or in other ways in contact with young people, "Up to me" can help you create interactive teaching that encourages reflection on how they want to live their lives.
